To serve you better, we've assembled a list of our customers' most frequently asked questions. If you don't find your answer here, feel free to contact us.

The bills are due on the 25th of every month.  There is a late penalty of 10% for bills not paid by the due date.  We recommend you mail your payment at least 7 days prior to the due date. Please call our office if you have any questions.

If you are experiencing a water outage, we recommend you call the office immediately.  If the weather has been cold, you could have a frozen meter or service lines.  Please call the office and we can help you.

We have an operator on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for EMERGENCIES only.  Please call (530) 283-0836 and press the number 2 when prompted.  This will transfer you to the on call operator.

This is for emergencies only.  Sewer backups, frozen meters, broken pipes, etc.  Please do not use this option for billing questions or scheduled turn on/off calls.   

You may not have - the numbers on your meter may have been transposed or hard to read. You could possibly have a leaky toilet or faucet that's difficult to detect. Just call the office and we'll work with you to solve the problem.

Check your aerators on your faucets to make sure they are not plugged. Check the pressure in different areas of the house. Next, call our office and report low pressure for your area.

A repair could have been completed recently allowing air to enter the line, causing the milky look.

Our District does not treat our water.  The only time chemicals are added is if we experience a break in a line and/or for routine disinfection.  When this happens you may notice a bleach smell.  If at any time you have a concern, please call our office.

Most likely your water heater needs to be flushed. CAUTION: Most manufacturers recommend hiring a professional to flush your water heater. If you plan on doing this yourself, read the owner's manual to keep from being hurt and or damaging the water heater.
